Recently, Trevor Plenert became an Eagle Scout. He has been the first Eagle Scout in our troop in 20 years. On July 3, 2016, he had his Eagle Court of Honor. In his Court of Honor, he was officially recognized as an Eagle Scout. He received congratulatory letters from big companies like Hershey’s and John Deere. He also received one from the U.S. Congress. For his Eagle Project, he installed a swing set and painted a four-square area and a large checkerboard at his old school. Because he had his Eagle Project there, his Eagle Court of Honor was held in the school gymnasium.
Trevor Plenert has been in Scouting his whole life and has stayed committed to earning his Eagle. In addition to becoming an Eagle Scout, he also received an Honor Medal for saving a kid’s life. He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow.
